A momentary lapse of reason

Hello there,
this is my first blog ever!I suppose I have been inspired to do such a thing by reading into other people's blogs and appreciating the various insights they give, and today of all days seems like a good place to start.

Now you may ask - why on earth would anyone care what I, a 15 year old boy from chesterfield, has to say? I think there are several reasons.

For one, I think it's very useful in the uptight society we live in dominated by insociability between different age groups, that people from these different age groups can actually grasp a true respresentation on someone of my age. Rather than maybe the stereotypical look, the breakdown in communication between us if solved answers a lot of questions as to why we do what we do and the pressures that young people face, that aren't easy to share or to understand. If you can see life through my eyes and from other peoples perspectives it can go along way to wider understanding.

Secondly, I think it would be quite cool to be honest if I tracked what I am doing this year. Looking back to yesterday and reflection on the year, I really lost site of maybe what I wanted to do, and what I actually did and the significance of those things. Furthermore the blog is for me in this respect, however I think I would be great if I could share it along the way.

Ok then, so now you must be thinking what is he actually going to put in this blog, a diary!? Well, i'll be posting on certain issues and influences that effect me over the course of the year as well keeping you posted on many significant events, In the moving year as i turn 16, and the little things that often make the biggest difference.

Right, so abit about me then, what are you to expect? I'm English, live in Chesterfield, I attend a comprehensive secondary school - I'm in year 11 - and doing my GCSE's this year. I have an interesting influential family to say the least and lead a good social life with my friends through sports and church. I would like to think i'm quite the average teenager (15), yet age is no barrier. Often I'm very moody or happy, due my hormones going crazy it seems and me growing and inch a month!. In addition but perhaps most importantly I am a christian, and it's likely many posts will mention the ongoing challenges me and alot of my friends face.

Before I waffle on some more, as per usual, I hope this blog with also share a wider message into people our behaviour and what we can learn from this chaos we call life. Wonder is the start of wisdom.
Stay posted for more updates probably weekly or even more regularly ;)

Laurie xx.
